Meet Evelyn Herrington

Guidance rooted in lived experience

Disability Solutions, LLC was founded by Evelyn Herrington, whose lifelong experience with cerebral palsy gives her a deeply personal understanding of the challenges individuals and families may face.

From childhood surgeries and inaccessible environments to employment barriers, family transitions, and changing abilities, Evelyn understands that disability is about much more than a medical diagnosis.

She combines that lived experience with professional education and training in rehabilitation counseling, vocational guidance, mental health counseling, and trauma-informed approaches.

Her goal is to help others feel heard, informed, respected, and better equipped to navigate their own journeys.

Remove barriers. Restore hope.

We believe every person deserves dignity, belonging, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to pursue their goals.

Our mission is to make disability navigation more accessible, remove unnecessary barriers, challenge stigma, and help individuals and families find information, resources, and connections that support their needs.

We believe disability is not a deficit to be defined by others. People with disabilities have their own experiences, strengths, goals, and voices, and those perspectives should guide the decisions that affect their lives.

Our work is grounded in compassion, accessibility, informed choice, and self-determination.
